Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information: If you are experiencing fever or cough, or think you may have COVID-19, please call UHD at (507) 526-7388 to schedule a Same Day Appointment. We’re taking extra precautions to put your health first by following CDC-recommended safety guidelines and visitor restrictions.



Face Masks at UHD

We are asking all patients and their guests to be covered for all appointments.

If you don’t have a mask, UHD will provide one for you.

For your protection, UHD employees will be masked in patient care areas.

UHD is committed to protecting the health and safety of all who visit our hospital and clinics, including patients, visitors and staff. Due to the presence of COVID in our community, we have temporarily updated the following policies. We appreciate your understanding as we follow all recommended guidelines to keep our communities safe.

URGENT CARE: UHD is not currently offering walk-in Urgent Care through our Emergency Room. Please call to schedule a Same Day Appointment, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

VISITOR POLICY: No general visitors are allowed at this time. Visitors that meet exceptions will be screened for symptoms upon entry to the facility utilizing standard screening tools. If a visitor screens positive for any symptoms or exposure to COVID-19, they will not be allowed to visit. Approved visitors must stay in the patient's room for the duration of the visit. Once the visitor leaves the patient room, they must leave the hospital.
